Back with new stories

¡Hola gente,

Well I'm back after a while because I honestly forgot about school.. But I've got some new stories to share with you all.

I went with my clients to a protest for the climate. We made some protest boards with different statements. When we arrived it was already full off people and everyone was outside protesting. There were also a lot of children from different schools. Although I did not understand everything, I tried to protest with them. The clients were full of joy because it was something different from what they normally don't do.

I also turned 21 here in Spain so happy belated birthday to me! I had a nice present because my parents were here on my birthday and I had some days off. On my birthday we went to the beautiful city Sevilla. We have seen such beautiful places like, Plaza Espana, Cathedral de Sevilla, many p, the diffrent streets, Torre Giralda and much more! It is a really nice city to enjoy even while it was 33 degrees and full of tourists. I also finally ate fries just like form home with a frikandel and I was so happy because I missed it like hell. But I had such a good birthday and I was happy my parents were here to celebrate it with me.

The next day we went to the oldest city of Europe, called Cádiz. I had already been here but I wanted to show my parents how nice this city is. It has such beautiful streets with anchient buildings. When we arrived at the square, there were people from the military but we couldn't understand anything so we didnot know why they were there.. We went in the Cathedral and it was so beautiful. We also went to park Genovés it such a nice green park. It has a pretty waterfall with very green trees. also they have pretty trees here in Spain, it all looks like the fairytale forest we have at home.

At Friday we went to the United Kingdom. Now you might think how is that even possible but if you know Gibraltar, you know it belongs to the United Kingdom. You have to show your pasport when you enter the city and you even have to pay with pounds. They also speak very British there so it is really like you're in London or something. I wanted to go there beause they have this big rock with monkeys and a really nice view. We were going on top of the rock with a cable car and although my mom was frightened, she went as well so I was very proud of here. The weather was not that beautiful that day but that made it a lot easier to walk (so I thought). We walked the route of the path and we could see many different things, for example the skywalk, the caves, the bridge, the house from the monkeys, anchient canons, anchient hiding places and so much more. Even though it was a tough walk, and I complained a lot, it was such a nice experience and fun day.

At Saturday we first went to park La Brena and I expected more from it, when I saw the pictures on the internet. But it wasn't that much after all, although it has a nice beach, we had to climb down, still do not know by which a path. But thankfully I liked it more than my mom because she was literally done with mountains and climbing. After that, we went to a city in the mountains called: Vejer de la Frontera. It is a white city also very pretty because you have such a nice view from everywhere you look. The street were narrow and somethimes steep. We went for a little lunch and a walk. But because we had to go up and down in almost every street, I was pretty done with it.

Last but not least, at Sunday it was the last day I was off with my parents. This day was all about relaxing because we walked so much these days, that we needed it. We spend the day at the pool from the hotel were my parents stayed. It was such a nice and relaxing day, the best to close my tiny vacation.

So I think I wrote enough for now cause my fingers are tired. About my internship though, everything is still going alright. I'm learning more Spanish everyday and I get lots of compliments about the way I speak and that I can understand them very well. I'm also getting more used to the behaviour form my clients, so I can say I'm on the right way!

By the way, the pictures will be uploaded later because I made a lot and I want to post the good ones so it takes some time.
